Adam and Gemma chose the Norton Park Hotel, Winchester for their big day, but today was a day of double celebrations as not only was it the happy couples wedding day it was also the grooms birthday.
I met up with the bridal party in the Manor House where the bridal preps were underway. The bridesmaids were calm and eager to get ready counting down the hours and minutes until the time arrived. What they didn’t realise was that while they were all dressing and adding their finishing touches the Bride was the first to be ready and was eagerly awaiting them.
The ceremony took place in The Barn followed by a drinks reception in the courtyard and a characteristic to keep the guest entertained during the photos. The happy couple even had time to have their own cartoon sketch drawn before rejoining their guests to lead them into the wedding breakfast.
Once the guests were all seated at their tables, it was time for the speeches followed by the whole wedding party singing a very big happy birthday to the groom.
As the evening got underway guests enjoyed a chocolate fountain along with sausage/bacon baps and a disco to keep them dancing through to the early hours. Their was no excuses for tired disco feet as the bride had everything covered with a basket of flip flops at the side of the dance floor.
