Marta and Stuart’s wedding was held at Coworth Park in Ascot, Berkshire and boy was I blown away with this venue! Everywhere you turned it was a photographers paradise, from blossoming gardens to stunning architecture in and outside the Hotel.
It was a simple wedding with just the couples children along with a few close friends for a more personal approach to the day. As I entered the room where the bride to be was getting ready Marta was already in the dress “simple and stunning” was the words that popped in to my head. We snapped a couple of shots in the room and Marta was a true natural in front of the camera, never needing direction.
It was time to head off to the ceremony that was being held in the Tower House and I could only describe it as a mini castle. After the exchanging of vows and rings I whisked the happy couple off on a short walk around the stunning grounds for some intimate photos, passing the British telephone box and the lake before ending up in the sunken gardens. Following the shoot it was a quick walk through the main house and onto the golf buggy that escorted the couple around all the locations before returning to the guests.
Drinks where flowing and we had the chance for some group shots in the gorgeous sunshine before heading back inside to the transformed ceremony room that was now a spectacular dining area. This is where my part ends with a final shot of the happy couple enjoying their moment together, but its not the end as I will be returning to see them in a months time to cover their reception at a different location.
