We arranged with Park Cameras in London, just off Oxford Street, to commandeer their studio for the day to run a workshop on Studio Portraits with 9 photographers to attend on the day. It was up at 6am for me to start the trek in to London, but thanks to ThinkTank Photo all my kit was nicely packed in to the Production Manager 30 camera bag.

One thing I like is camera bags, and I’ve been told I have a problem! “don’t all photographers” I have a bag for all occasions, and this bag is like no other. Filling all my Profoto kit in, from the B1 heads to the B2 battery pack with 2 heads, not to mention all the modifiers and backgrounds.

For my cameras it has to be the new Urban Approach 10 Mirrorless Camera Shoulder Bag and this is my new go too bag for my day to day work. It fits all your day kit along with the iPad in such a small and compact bag.

On getting to Park Cameras I had the help of Dave (my videographer) and Claire (from Olympus) so it wasn’t long until we were set up and ready for all the attendees to start arriving. We kicked off the workshop over coffee whilst explaining how the lights work. Following on from this was two styled shoots, with everyone getting plenty of shooting time for some amazing images.

Thanks to Court On Camera for the make-Up and Charlotte for modelling on the day.
