It was time to head out on the streets of London for my Urban Portraits photography workshop, and this time we teamed up with Park Cameras.
We all met up at Park Cameras at 10;30 with introductions then off we set to the back streets of SoHo, with our stunning model Shosana Rose The look we was going for was hard street girl. I was using one light and a reflector for most of the shots but to start off it was all natural light. I really wanted the photographers to see the difference when we added flash.
It was time to start creating, so my trusty Profit B2 pack and Lastolight reflector came out, and using my Olympus OMD EM5 MKII with the Voigtlander 42.5mm f0.95 we created some stunning images. My camera was set to B&W for the day giving me a better understanding of high lights and shadows when looking at the image.
We ended up in China Town and with what I’m sure was the Chinese mafia watching over us as we worked our magic in there alley way, but all in a good way as they moved stray people on from walking in to our shots.
We finished back at park Cameras for final Q&A before bringing the day to an end. Big thanks to everyone for coming along.
