Bisham Abbey is a stunning location for a summers wedding. I had the pleasure of covering Louisa and Nathans celebration with the day starting for me 12:00 at Louise parents home.
I decided to drop by the church as I was a bit early and to look around, and the church was only 200 yards from the parents home. Giving me the perfect opportunity to find my settings ready for the ceremony.
After a short walk to there home and introductions, the drinks were flowing, and the wedding photography was officially on its way. The girls were full of life as they all practised walking in there dress and shoes, not to mention bathing in the glorious sunny day in the garden. They couldn’t have wished for a better day with the weather, and flowers were blooming and blue skies as far as the eye could see.
The vintage open-top car turned up way ahead of time for me to capture some stunning shots. After covering portrait shots around the car, it was time to head up to the church and get some shots of the groom and everyone arriving. The ceremony was perfect and the church full of light and love, it was a pleasure to cover a wedding there.
Bisham Abbey Wedding
After we covered the confetti, throwing it was time to head over to Bisham Abbey located close to Bisham Village. I wanted to get there ahead of the bride and groom; they were going to drive the long way round taking advantage of the weather and car.
I have covered many weddings at Bisham Abbey, and I love the staff there, always friendly and welcoming. Its always a pleasure to work at a place were everyone works together. We covered all the group shots and portraits on the grounds, all the guests had plenty of time for drinks and congratulating the happy couple.
Food was ready, and everyone started to take their seats prepared for some fabulous food. The speeches were funny, emotional and full of love and happiness.
The evening has officially started with the drinks flowing, everyone chatting and mingling with each other. We covered the cutting of the cake and headed to the dance floor for the couples first dance. The room was booming with dancing; it was nearly impossible to walk around getting the shots. But with my crazy talent, I did it, got every shot I needed before calling it a night.
All that was left for me to do is say my goodbyes and find my bags, what a day and night. Big thanks to everyone from the father and mother for booking me to the venue and all the staff for looking after me.
