Little Dower House in Old Windsor is a small countryside home with spectacular grounds and the perfect place for a wedding. Zoe & Sam picked Little Dower House for there wedding day and was the ideal place for a fairytale wedding.
For me, the day started at Zoe’s parents home to cover the bridal preparations. Everyone was in full swing getting ready on my arrival. The drinks were flowing, and the girls were looking amazing. After a quick introduction, I started the detail shots. The dress looks stunning, and I couldn’t wait to see the long trail following the bride behind her.
It was time to head off to Little Dower House in Old Windsor, and I had around a forty minute drive ahead of me. Arriving at Little Dower House, the groom’s men greeted me. The place looked like a fairytale playground with its decorations. Bottles hanging from trees and old vintage pictures pinned to the trunks of the trees. There were also flowers in jars all over the place leading you the way to the ceremony.
Little Dower House Wedding
The ceremony was a delight with both their friends and family surrounding them under an old tree. As Zoe walked down the path with her dad, everyone was smiling, and the groom was filling up with emotion glancing towards his new bride to be. The bride, Zoe had a surprise installed for Sam. After the vows had been done, Zoe pulled out a saxaphone, and her brother started playing the guitar. The guests began to stand and sing with instruments in their hand. A complete surprise for Sam, especially as Zoe, didn’t even play a musical instrument! To his knowledge.
After the ceremony, we covered the group shots and their portrait pictures in the field surrounded by flowers and Windsor castle. It was time for food with all the guests making there way to the big tent.
The decoration and food were terrific. All the guests were having fun, and the speeches had everyone laughing with tears of joy. The evening couldn’t get any better but boy o boy it certainly did. With a mobile pizza van pulling up to serve everyone fresh stone baked pizza in the evening. The jazz band was setting up with backing singers. The singer had so much energy you just had to dance.
The evening was a huge success. Guests were dancing on the dancefloor in the tent. Outside people were laying down on blankets drinking and talking making friends. A wedding to remember and high on my list of the best days in this year.Wedding Gallery
