Amanda and Chris’s wedding was at the superb Bix Manor Bix, Broadplat Lane, Henley-on-Thames. This wedding venue is a must see if you’re planning a wedding. The staff are amazing, and the owner is a pleasure to work with on your wedding day.

The morning started at Amanda home with her mum and day along with her daughter. As I arrived, Amanda was walking through the door after having her hair and make-up finished. I started setting up the cameras and covering the detail shots as she slipped into her dress.
Dad was busy getting ready and proved for some good natural shots. Mum was covering the finishing touches to her outfit as everyone was rushing around.

Before long the car had arrived, and id finished lasing up Amanda dress, yes that’s right i’m a dab hand of all things weddings. It was time for me to head over to Bix Manor ready to get shots of the guests arriving.
Chris was already at Bix Manor as he stayed the night before getting everything ready.

The guests started to arrive, and the couch pulled up with all Amanda and Chris’s friends. The couple had arranged a coach for everyone as after the wedding they would all head back to the local.
The bride to be was in the main room awaiting the word to make her entrance, so after a couple of shots, I took my place in the ceremony room.

Bix Manor looked stunning, and Chris was starting to look nervous awating Amanders entrance. In she walked looking as stunning as ever. The ceremony was perfect, and the two readings had everyone lathing with joy.
With the rings on the fingers and now husband and wife it was time to head out for the group shots.

The group shots were short and sweet just how I like them. We had everything covered and extras before heading back into Bix Manor for drinks.
After covering the bride and grooms portraits, we made our way to the wedding breakfast. The food, bangers and mash were perfect and so filling. Desert had a personal touch with one person from each table serving and making an entrance with the desert.

The evening kicked off with a live band and the first dance. Let us not forget the cutting of the cake though. The evening was a hit with all the guests making their way on to the dance floor and showing off there moves.
That’s it, its a rape for some of the guests.

The coach departed at ten o’clock to take everyone to Amanda and Chris’s local pub. I followed them there to make a couple of finishing shots before calling it a night.

Wish you both all the best and thank you for a fantastic day and evening.
