Ani and James Reception Ufton Court

Part three, The Reception Ufton Court

After a lovely wedding ceremony at Douai Abbey it was time to head off to the reception at Ufton Court in Reading, Berkshire.

Upon arrival to Ufton Court the guest’s were all greeted to a welcome drinks reception along with three lovely ladies playing the cello and violins. The soft sweet harmonies of the mini orchestra drifting around the sun drenched courtyard just added to the romance of the day.

After a lavish wedding breakfast in the Tithe Barn, it was over to the Archers Hall for the cake cutting and a chocolate buffet, truly choctastic, a whole buffet consisting of a selection of different flavoured chocolates.  A pure chocoholics paradise.

For those that could pull themselves away from the chocolate delights, back in the Tithe Barn was the start of the evening entertainment. The Something Blues band had the dance floor jumping. Truly amazing, I even had to have a short time out to let my hair down and have a boogie !!! ( lol what hair !!! )  During a short band interval the guest’s tucked into a spit hog roast before continuing to dance the night away.

The night was almost coming to a close, but not before everyone gathered outside the courtyard for a firework spectacular lighting the sky.

After the reception it was all back to the Reading Lake Hotel where the fairytale day began.

Ani and James, thank you for such an amazing day.

Rob, both you and Lisa not only took amazing photos of our day but you also helped make the day more special and to run more smoothly. We love the pictures and can’t wait to make the album. The wedding day was amazing but went far too quickly but these photos have captured the day’s events so that we can now take stock of everything that happened. The fact you came to the houses before the wedding ceremony and stayed way after the first dance really added to this. Thank you and see you again soon xxx
