Claire Oliver Wedding Easthamstead Park

Claire and Oliver's wedding at Easthamstead Park was one wedding I was really looking forward to covering. Easthamstead Park is one of my favourite wedding location's with the stunning grounds and buildings. This is topped off with the staff  as they are always polite to work with on the day. This wedding was two years in the planning. My first meeting with the couple was all the way back in December 2015.From day one I just knew the day would be a blast and had to cover this wedding. As we chatted about the plans for the special day the conversation ran on with us chatting about are adventure's. Some time later (the month before the wedding) we got together for another quick chat about the final plans. Just as before we spent most of the time talking over the couples previous holiday to Iceland. We were blessed with good weather on the day of the wedding at Easthamstead Park. It started off overcast but by the afternoon the sun was breaking through the clouds. This giving that defused light us photographers have grown to love in the UK. Keeping a close eye on the time whilst the girls were busy with the finishing touches I was able to capture the groom arriving. He sure did arrive in style as he pulled up in a shiny silver Porsche. With a quick dash back up to the girls room the dress was on and the girls were ready. I soon made my plans for capturing the bride making her way down the grand staircase. The ceremony was intimate and loving with the glowing defused light beaming through the windows as the couple exchanged vows. It wasn't long before we were all heading outside for the group shots. I think I hit my record of 30 minutes to cover the group photo shoots. After I whisked the couple off for some relaxing portraits. This gave the couple some quiet time away but not taking to much of their time away from the guests.Speeches, what can I say. It was an emotional time with floods of tears coming from the groom. These were tears of happiness and tears of love. It just go's to say the groom is a gentle giant at heart, and a couple made for each other. As I finished covering the speeches I settled down for my break. A big thanks to the bride and groom for my three course meal. It was very much appreciated. During my break I took a moment to edit one photo of the bride from our portrait shoot outside. I text it to the grooms phone. It wasn't long before the groom popped his head around the corner thanking me for the photo. It was the least I could do for this couple. The evening celebrations got under way with new guests arriving for the evening. It was soon time for the cutting of the cake and first dance. The dance floor was soon full of guests dancing their heart's out to the music. The evening came to an end for me, and it was time to pack the cameras away and make my way home from Easthamstead Park.Big thanks to Claire and Oliver for including me in their wedding day, not just as the photographer but as a guest. I wish you both all the best and happiness.[flo_button url="" style="grey" size="small" type="round" target="_blank"] Wedding Gallery [/flo_button]
