Diana and Steven Wedding Photography

We were on the road nice and early making our way London bound for today's wedding photography. The day started off at The Holiday Inn Elstree, London where I met with Diana and her maid of Honour who were in the final stages of hair and makeup. The prosseco was flowing and both girls were very chilled and relaxed. The brides father made a swift appearance to finalise departure times for the church, happy to agree a suitable time allowing for the London traffic, also taking into account the bride didn't want to arrive late. With all the times finalised and everything calmly going to plan it was time for me to head off to Our Lady of Dolours catholic church to catch up with Steven ahead of the ceremony.Upon arriving at the church, we were the first to arrive so plenty of time to look around and have a quick chat with Father Dominic. As the guests started to arrive and take their seats, I started to get a little worried as there was still no sign of the groom or his party. As the clock was approaching just 5 mins before the ceremony was due to start and cutting it very fine, I breathed a sigh of relief as a car came roaring up the street, and clambering out came the groom followed by bestman and ushers. What a relief !!! Good job the Bride herself was running late. (Who sticks to actually departure times anyway, the brides aloud to be late)Following the ceremony and a few photographs in the church gardens it was time to head over to Mill Hill Golf Club, where all guests were welcomed with a drinks reception. It wasn't long before all were seated to a wedding breakfast. It was a pleasure to be seated at the table with the guests, and even doing a little wager for fun amongst the table on how long the longest speech will last. Well done Ian for guessing the closest, and who managed to pocket himself £14 in Just under 12 minutes !!!Following a lovely meal it was time to welcome in the evening guests with a disco and live singer to keep the dance floor bouncing. After a little boogie myself it was time to call it a night and quietly slip off back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.Thank you to everybody for making us feel so welcome, and a personal thank you to Diana and Steven for including us in all aspects of your special day x
