Monique Chris Wedding Wasing Park
Wasing Park located in the heart of Aldermaston is a stunning place for a wedding. Its not the first wedding I've covered at Wasing Park and definitely not the last. I was due to arrive at Wasing park for 11am. With the venue being fairly local to my home it was a nice relaxing start. On arrival and scouting around the grounds it wasn't long before I bumped in to Monique. With the bridesmaids not far behind everything was starting to come together. The early morning sun was starting to break through the clouds and it wasn't long before the bar opened. As the guests started to arrive they had time for a sneaky drink ahead of the ceremony. Most of the girls had their hair and make-up preps done at the house. The girls were just about finished as the makeup artist completed the final touchups. They were soon climbing the stairs to the bridal suite. I was eagerly awaiting the call to join the girls to capture the finishing dress shots. After the dress shots were done I made my way over to the church. The church wasn't far away. In fact it was only a 5 min walk away and thats was walking a slow pace. With all the guests seated Monique made her entrance and Chris was beaming like a Cheshire cat. The ceremony was amazing. The church organ surrounded us with beautiful harmonies as a voice of an angel was singing away. With everyone now out of the church and with a drink in hand. It was soon time to cover the group shots.I soon whisked the couple away from the guests for a short time to cover their portraits. But most importantly this also gives them some time alone. Its important on the day just to get away for a short time to be a couple. It sounds silly I know. But on your wedding day with everyone pulling you apart. Sometimes its not until the first dance you get the first opportunity to actually be together. What can I say. The food was amazing and the speeches fun to listen too with everyone joining in with something to say. Each table had their chance to say a little story about the couple. Some more comical then others, but all in good fun.The evening guests started to arrive and my camera settings changed ready for the cutting of the outstanding cake. The cake stood tall and screamed "eat me" but even I resisted all day ;-)Thats it. The first dance was over and everyone was showing off their dance moves. There was one dance that had everyone synchronised together. Very impressive I must say. With some background shots captured of the happy couple bopping away it was time for me to say my goodbyes. I then slowly slipped away in to the night.
