The Photography Show 2016

The Photography Show is the UK's biggest photographic show with demonstrations of new product's, with the opportunity for the public to try them out on their own cameras, not to mention the amazing deals on offer across the four days, saving over £200 on some products compared to the high street pricing. One of the most tempting aspects of the photography show for the public is all the free workshops organised by the manufactures, and thats where I feel most at home. For the four days I was working on the Olympus stand, answering questions on the latest cameras along with giving advice.

The Photography Show Workshops

I was to cover four presentations on the Profoto stand. The first two presentations were during the mornings, being talks on how I setup and took the shots with different lighting techniques. During the afternoon presentations I selected one of the morning shots to recreate using a simple 3 light setup whilst talking the crowd through the shoot whilst I was tethered up to the screens. We had a super full crowd overtime on the Profoto stand, and I'm happy to say lots of positive feedback from the day's are still pouring in.My other role was to cover two presentations on the business behind wedding photography. This was to take place on the wedding and portrait super stage, with an ordinance of over 200 people, and I'm happy to say it was a full house. I cant believe the response I've received from the talks, and how its helped new wedding photographers. My last role was to cover two close up and personal talks on the Olympus stand. This was showcasing a selection of images ranging from wedding, portrait and street. The questions were flowing by the end, and I truly enjoyed my time talking to everyone.I've placed some images of what I managed to capture of the show (not many as I was rushed off my feet) along with a link to my video wedding presentation.[flo_button url="" style="grey" size="small" type="round" target="_self"] Wedding Presentation [/flo_button]Big thanks to all the new and old friends, suppliers and work college's
