Sara & chris's wedding
What an amazing day for a wedding with the sun out and everyone very excited!. We started at the Elvetham Hotel in Hartney Whitney with beautiful grounds and architecture. As I arrived I was greeted by Sarah who walked me around to show me all the beautiful spots for photos and where their wedding celebrations will take place.Out came the cameras and I started the bride preparations in a room the six of my house, with light flooding in through the windows (heaven for a photographer) After three bridesmaids and the mother of the bride were ready it was time for the lovely bride to step into her dress. The dress was like out of the movie's with the dovetail fanned out as Sarah stood in front of the window. As we had a 40 minute drive to the church, we decided to make tracks and get there a bit earlier to start capturing the guests arriving. There was an old family tradition where the bride would leave from her parents home, so the bride made her way from the hotel back to the family home where she would then make her way to the church. Everything went to military position as it was a military wedding, with Chris dressed all in his military uniform. The church ceremony was amazing but before leaving the church behind we had a little bit of time for some confetti throwing before heading back over to the hotel where the reception celebrations would begin. Back at the hotel everyone enjoyed a lovely sitdown meal followed by a live band in the evening for dancing the night away. Our Photo Booth was a big hit with it going a little crazy at times with all the Afro wigs and guitars, but its always good fun. The guests were treated to a free ice cream van where they could help themselves to what ever they wanted. I even managed to grab myself a 99 cone. With he first dance over, along with the cutting of the cake it was time for me to call it a night, but not before catching a few final dance shots before saying my goodbyes and leaving the happy couple and their guest's to party the night away.Amazing day and thanks to Sarah and Chris for your hospitality!
