Farnham Castle in Surrey was the venue for today’s wedding. Upon arrival of the ancient castle I had time for a quick look around the stunning venue before heading over to the Gatehouse where I was welcomed by Debbie and her wedding party as they were busy helping each other with hair and makeup.
Back over in the main castle’s Morley rooms Dan and his best man were also busy getting ready, so I briefly slipped away from the girls for a quick catchup with the lads before they made there way to start welcoming the arriving guests.
The ceremony was held in the Lantern Room, followed by a drinks reception of sparkling fizz, winter pimms and beers in The Stone Hall. Taking advantage of the break in the clouds, the guests gathered in the castle gardens for photos before I whisked the happy couple away to capture some stunning portraits in the castles ancient ruins. The couple were soon reunited with their guest to be seated in The Great Hall to a lavish wedding breakfast followed by coffees back in The Stone Hall.
As the Gallery Bar opened the evening got underway with the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance. Guests had our very own photobooth along with a live band to keep all entertained throughout the evening celebrations.
