One of my first weddings of the summer and it was located in the stunning surroundings of Windsor at Guildhall Windsor. The bride preparations and evening reception situated at Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa Windsor Berkshire, a stunning location for a wedding.
The wedding would take place at the Guildhall Windsor, a truly magnificent venue to say your vows, with all the royal portraits of kings and queens looking down on you. A place of royalty, with many of the royal family having there wedding there over the years. From my recollection, the last royal wedding at Guildhall Windsor was that of Charles and Camilla.
We headed to the Guildhall Windsor in style on a regular old vintage red London bus. All the tourists were going crazy thinking they could purchase a ticket as they snapped away at the couple.
Guildhall Windsor Wedding
Once in the Guildhall ceremony room, I didn’t know where to look first, with all the portraits or past and present kings and queens showering down on us standing tall in this great room. The ceremony was perfect with emotion, laughter and readings from friends. After the service, we headed back to the bus and headed back to Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa.
The afternoon spent in the fantastic British summer with blue sky’s and temperatures reaching 25%, boy it was hot!. After drinks I took the couple to the bridge located just outside Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa for there portraits, the couple nailed it and was soon back with the wedding party.
Shorter wedding for me due to being booked for five hours (my new wedding hourly packages). Covering wedding photography up to after there wedding breakfast and managing to capture cutting of there stunning wedding cake.
A magical couple indeed in love full of fun and laughs, I wish you both congratulations and all the happiness and joy in your future together.
