Fun In The Sun Photography Workshop

It was an early start as we got up with the birds to make our way to Brighton for some fun in the sun with this weeks Photography Workshop.

As we approached Brighton centre the heavens opened but staying positive (with umbrellas in hand) we made our way to the pier, our meeting point for the day.

We didn’t let the rain stop our fun as we got our cameras out and started snapping away using our umbrellas as props (and keeping ourselves and the equipment dry)

With the clouds breaking in the afternoon giving us a glimpse of the sunshine and blue sky, we jumped on the opportunity to get the Lee Filters out.

The day was filled with rain and shine, but that didn’t stop us all from having plenty of fun with the Photography Workshop a big hit.

Kit used on the workshop was Westcott 20″ Rapid Box Octa Mini – LEE Filters Sev5n Kit – Cactus Wireless Flash RF60 – Olympus OMD EM5 MKII – BlackRapid camera Strap big thanks to all the suppliers!

Brighton had a months worth of rain in one day, did that stop us NO. Dodging the downpours we had a great time, lighting was superb, dramatic skies and stormy seas. Charlotte was an excellent choice of model easy to work with and dropped into new poses without direction, as for Rob he explains what we need to do, how we are going to achieve it and with minimum fuss just gets on with the job. The day was all about getting some great pictures and that’s what we did. Looking forward to the next one 🙂

Thanks Brian, its always a pleasure working with you, lets hope next time its sun sea and sand with a bit less rain on the day! but boy did we all have fun.

See you on the next one.
