Rushall Barn located at Rushall Farm is a stunning place for a wedding. The bride and groom indeed went out of there way to find this little gem, hidden in the Berkshire countryside. Let us rewind to the start of the day as we have three locations to cover.
The bride preparations started at Penta Hotel Reading Berkshire. Penta Hotel takes your breath away the moment you walk in the door, with its stunning decor. The rooms are just outstanding with pinball machines and computer games all included in your Hotel room. Rebecca was in the middle of having her hair done as I arrived, so I started with the detail shots.
Looking around the room finding exciting places for the dress and perfume shots was easy. Everywhere you looked there was a place to use that was interesting. The bridesmaids also started to arrive, and boy did they all look stunning in their dresses. I managed to capture a portrait of everyone in some fantastic light before heading to the church.
The church was local and only a short drive down the road. Arriving at the church with the groom Rory already taking his place at the front of the church. All the guests had arrived, and I was awaiting the bride turning up in her vintage triumph car.
Rebecca looked stunning as she walked towards Rory. It was a truly magical moment with love surrounding them as they came together. The service was breathtaking with the couple’s friend singing for them, and her voice is that of an angel. I could have listened to her all day if I had the time.
Rushall Barn Wedding
Rushall Farm is a place I have to go back to and spend more time photographing. The wedding reception was at Rushall Barn, and the couple had decorated it themselves, and it looked outstanding with a real vintage look. The couple arrived in style in their old triumph and drove it right into the barn where everyone was sitting. It was a surprise with a grand entrance into the barn.
The couple looked stunning together and. We had a short bit of time to cover the group shots before food was ready. After the group shots, it seemed like the evening went so fast. The speeches were funny and meaningful.
After Rory has a well-deserved rest, we covered the first dance and the cutting of the cake. The night was still young but time for the bride and groom to head off, and also for me to say goodbye.
This wedding had everything from an old vintage barn to a magician entertaining the guests. And did I mention a wedding photobooth they put together from haybales and fairy lights?.
Just want to with Rebecca and Rory all the happiness and love for years to come, and thank you for all your hospitality on the day.
