Roll up, roll up! Giffords Circus in the picturesque grounds of Chiswick House London was the setting for an exclusive day-time session for photographers of all skill sets, affording the opportunity to get hands on with OM-D bodies and lenses – with the chance to win an OM-D E-M10 at the end of it! Advice and a portrait shoot from Robert Pugh, Neil Buchan-Grant and Damian McGillicuddy.
Appearing first from behind the velvet curtain and entering the ring to a sea of lenses was clown act Tweedy and his pet iron trailing behind him. There were acts from jugglers to “Big Dave” showing his skills with a spinning top wheel and not to mention the acrobats.
The 60 attendees had the chance to photograph circus performers under a real-life big top, performing eye-catching extracts from their latest epic production, “Moon Songs”. After a short performance we split the group into three. The ambassadors would have there own acts setting up with flash and explaining what they were seeing before everyone had some shooting time.
It turned out to be an amazing day with non stop action. The day ended with tea and cake outside the big top and everyone relaxing on the grass chatting and exchanging shots.
