The wedding was split over two days with the main ceremony at Trunkwell House in Reading followed by a sit down meal and drinks. The second part of the celebrations was the evening reception for the larger part of family and friends and the venue for this was at Shenai in Reading.
This was a wedding of 2 religions coming together and family traveling from all over the world to witness the joining of hands. The day started off at 12noon with the sun shining down with a bit of a breeze blowing (we can cope with that) the bride was starting to get ready and stunning she looked, although I think the hardest part for her was choosing which jewellery to wear from all the amazing broaches she had on offer.
The groom was relaxing in the library very calm and cool slipping in a joke or two amongst friends before heading to the ceremony room.
The ceremony had the traditional British start and finished with a muslim blessing, all very interesting and personal to be a part of on the day. After the ceremony there was an hour for photos and group shots then back to the library for the meal.
I parted the happy couple at 6pm saying my goodbyes but only for 2 days as i’ll be meeting with them again on Saturday evening for the reception.
