Sam and Phil’s Wedding

Sam and phil traveled back to Reading from up north bringing a small group of family and friends with them to celebrate their Reading Football Club themed wedding day.

The day kicked off nice and early at the Grooms parents home in Reading where the bride, brides mother, and grooms mother were all getting ready.

We were the first to arrive to capture the brides prep shots, but all got a little panicky when the hair and make-up artist was late. Eventually running 30 mins behind, the hair and make-up got underway.

The ceremony took place at Christ Church in Reading, where the bride met up with her bridesmaids as they took to their duties after arriving at a local hotel earlier that morning. After the service there was just enough time to capture some lovely shots around the church grounds before heading over to the Irish Club in Chatham Street Reading for the reception celebrations.

The reception venue continued the Royals theme right down to the wedding cake. After the guests enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch it was time to whisk the newly weds away for a short portrait shot around the local vicinity. After returning the happy couple back to their guests it was time to get the evening started with a disco and the welcoming of the evening reception guests. The Reading wedding was a Roarrrrrrring success.
