Samantha and Kevan’s wedding took place at the stunning Crown Plaza Caversham Reading. What a location to start the year off surrounded by friends and family. With the daylight fading away this would be my first evening wedding of the year as I began the photography at four o’clock.
I arrived at Crown Plaza Caversham ahead of time and to get ready for the arrival of Samantha. Samantha, the bride, got ready at her home making her way in the stunning silver Bently.
Kevan was already making his way to the ceremony room
Crown Plaza Caversham
The ceremony was perfect with some lovely readings by the children. So much emotion and love as the couple exchanged rings and made their promises as they became man and wife.
After the ceremony, we headed to the front of Crown Plaza for drinks. Perfect time for everyone to congratulate the couple as I made plans for the portraits and group shots.
After some time I placed the couple in their wedding car to have some alone time. On there return we covered the portraits and group shots before heading into the wedding breakfast.
With everyone taking there places the couple made their entrance to a shower of confetti. I decided to set up the lighting on the dancefloor before returning for the speeches.
It was time for the evening to get started as the speeches came to an end. Evening guests began to arrive, and the DJ had the dancefloor-ready. With a quick turnaround, we managed to get the cutting of the cake covered before inviting the couple for there dancing.
Nice slow dance with spectacular love sign dominating the background. It was the perfect end to the evening as I took the last shot and packed my cameras away.
