Lainston House located in the heart of Sparsholt, Winchester and the location for this weeks wedding. Lainston House is definitely at the top of the list to have your wedding. With its grand design and long winding driveway through the woodlands, it’s a top location for wedding photography.
For me, the day started at Sian parents home for the bride preparations. The sun was out with blue, and the garden looked stunning. The girls were in full swing of getting ready with the drinks flowing. Jumping straight into the detail shots before Sian jumped into her fantastic wedding dress.
We had some time to capture the bride and bridesmaids pictures in the garden before I headed off to the church.
St Nicholas Church was just a short walk, so I left my car at the house and made my way to the groom. The groom Ben was eagerly awaiting his bride to be. I had a quick chat and took my position to see Sian make her grand entrance. The best part of being a wedding photographer you get to look at everything first.
The ceremony was beautiful with some readings from the hart, and the church was stunning. After the service, we captured the confetti shots then headed to a little spot for some portraits. Soon after the pictures, it was a race to Lainston House with everyone in there sports cars.
Lainston House Wedding
Entering the driveway of Lainston House would only put a smile on your face. The grounds are amazing and well worth every penny the couple paid to have their wedding reception there.
After a couple of shots in front of the sports cars, the couple joined their guest before we started the group shots. With the group shots over and the couple portraits, complete everyone started heading over for the wedding breakfast.
The wedding breakfast room looked stunning, and the wedding cake was a first for me. The cake levitated from the ceiling needing notable; it seemed spectacular. Speeches were first, and there were some funny moments from everyone. The best man’s speech certainly stuck out from the crowd with everyone gasping and lathing.
The evening kicked off with the cutting of the cake and straight into the first dance. Everyone was on the dance floor with the live band kicking out some top tunes. Some crazy fun dance moves to come from the wedding guest. Everyone was showing their moves and enjoying the company.
The night came to an end for me at Lainston House and time to say my goodbyes. Big thanks to everyone for all your hospitality on the day. And you people with the crazy moves, you rock!Wedding Gallery
