Easthamstead Park in Wokingham Berkshire was the venue for today’s wedding celebrations. The weather was on side as the morning mist soon cleared with a break in the clouds to allow the glorious spring sunshine to shine through.
Upon my arrive to Easthampstead House, Louise and her bridal party were in full flow with the hair and make up preps, whilst enjoying a glass or two of celebratory fizz. With the morning going well to plan, it wasn’t long until it was time for me to leave the ladies briefly to allow Louise time to step into her wedding dress. Meanwhile downstairs in the bar lounge Adam and his best-man were on hand to start welcoming the arrival of the wedding guests before leading them into the ceremony room to be seated to await the arrival of the bride.
Following the wedding ceremony guests were able to take advantage of the afternoon sunshine as they made there way out to the courtyard where they enjoyed a drinks reception and a variety of lawn games. I took this opportunity to whisk the couple away briefly to make use of the stunning venue grounds with some portrait shots, before rejoining them back with there guests. As the sunshine slowly started to drop it was time to move back inside to be seated in the Downshire Room to a wedding breakfast followed by drinks in the lounge bar.
Following a quick room change, It was soon time for the happy couple to do the cutting of the wedding cake followed by their first dance, that opened up the dance floor to the disco dancers. The guests also had the pleasure of a characteristic and our very own photo booth to keep them entertained throughout the night. A good day was definitely had by all.
