The Wedding Photography started for the girls at Ruby Reds in Reading centre for hair styling, but I met up with them a little later at Lucy’s parents home. The girls were very calm as they helped each other with the makeup before tucking into a light lunch. It was at this point I departed the girls and I made my way across the town to spend the remainder of the morning with the lads.

I arrived at the lads pad to the lovely aroma of sizzling bacon, so it was bacon baps all round. The lads had the helping hand of a lovely female friend who was busy ironing the shirts and suits. It wasn’t long before Scott was ready and the lads were queuing to have their cuff links fastened. The groom and best-man were soon on their bicycles peddling their way to the church.

The ceremony was held at St Peters Church in Caversham, Reading followed by photographs in the Caversham Court Gardens, where the River Thames made for a stunning backdrop as the guests enjoyed the glorious sunshine.

The happy couple departed for the reception venue as they drove themselves off in a gleaming Mini Cooper.

The reception was held in The Town Hall, Reading centre where all guests were welcomed on arrival to a drinks reception. The couple arrived a little after everyone else as Scott and his long awaited dream of driving a mini took the opportunity of an extended driving route as he had an addition to his dream of his wife sat in the seat beside him. It wasn’t long before all guests were seated to a wedding breakfast followed by the first dance that made the opening of the evening celebrations and Celidh.
