Faye Ritchard Wedding Red Lion Henley-on-Thames
If there is ever a way to do your wedding in style, then this is it, Henley on Thames river cruise wedding. The wedding started at the Red Lion Henley-on-Thames for the bride preparations and the ceremony. The morning for me started at Red Lion Henley-on-Thames, covering the bride preparations and the background shots of the ceremony room along with all the hard work put into decoration the venue. The girls were hard at work popping corks of Champaign and having there hair and makeup done. I covered all the usual dress shots before heading down to capture the lads arriving. The lads were at the usual spot “the bar” and congregated around the Audi supercar they had hired for a couple of days of there wedding celebrations. The Audi was stunning, and I had Pacific instructions to have this in all the shots, we covered some stunning shots with the couple later on in the day.

Time for the ceremony and with the venue organiser directing me where and when to take the shots of the bride my morning was made simple. The service was perfect, with the bride looking stunning as ever. After the ceremony, we all headed outside and covered the group shots.Covering the group shots run like clockwork and covered in record time. We were working to a strict deadline as the boat departed at 15:30 and all the guests needed to be aboard by then. The Steamboat was an old vintage steamboat, with the sun shining and the weather topping 25% everyone was having drinks on the top deck.
Wedding Boat Cruise
The boat cruised down the themes with everyone enjoying themselves, drinks flowing and spirits high. All the guests were having fun and a few being mischievous getting passes by to wave and kiss each other from the riverside. It turned in to a game seeing how many couples they could get to kiss each over on the riverside as they shouted: “Give her a kiss for us”.The two hours was soon up, and it was time to head back to the Red Lion for the wedding breakfast. The food was, and the speeches were entertaining with timing defiantly out of the window as the evening entertainment started in the room next door.Everyone soon moved into the disco room, and with a quick reorganisation of times, we were back on track for the cutting of the cake and first dance. After being told there would be no first dance myself, and the DJ come up with a plan, and there we have it the bride and groom had there first dance. What a day, congratulations to the happy couple and a big thank you for all their hospitality on the day, with you both all the best for years to come.
