JMS London Commissioned Headshots

I was commissioned to cover JMS London Headshots. I was working to their strict brief on lighting and background colour. One of the factors lots of people and companies don't think about is the colour of the background regarding there Headshots. It's also a must to look at your website and create an image that's fitting.

Another factor that's not so much important for me but is to the client has an image other photographers can recreate across the country. Larger companies take on multiple photographers to cover all the shots reducing cost on travel expenses for them. With that in mind, a white background is the best option and easy to replicate.

My usual choice of background for corporate headshots is grey as you focus more on the subject and not the background lighting. If a white background for headshots portraits captured incorrectly, it could turn the background lighting into an overpowering factor of the image.
