One Light Headshot Profile Portraits

If you can master one light, you can do anything. I've talked about this many times and the importance of learning. Now more than ever we need to keep our equipment to a minimum not only in a cost-effective way but to be more mobile.

Headshots are becoming more and more popular, especially for Linkedin profiles. With people changing job roles or looking for new work, your profile image is your first impression if you take the time to get that perfect shot your already one step ahead to getting that job.

With that in mind, I see photographers travelling all over for work and at the same time lugging around bags, stands and lighting. If we master covering simple lighting shots with just one light source, everything speeds up. The equipment we need to the time takes the photographer to set up for the client's headshot.
