Pete and Zoe Wedding The Wellington Arms

The Wellington Arms is just a short drive for me and a venue I've passed on many occasions. Just before lockdown last year, The Wellington Arms had a complete refurbishment with the outlook of turning into a wedding venue. They certainly did a good job especially adding the outdoor pavilion for weddings in the Sun.

It turned out I have five weddings booked at this venue, with Pete and Zoe's wedding being the first. Before I get into the day, there was no disappointment and what a lovely venue for your wedding. The staff are so polite and always on hand to help.

It was a glorious day with blue skies, green fields, and fluffy white clouds all around. Pete and Zoe booked me to cover five hours of wedding photography for their special day. The bride preps capture Zoe getting ready and dashing in and out of the room to cover the venue, transforming for the day ahead. With a knock on the door and dad walking in to see his daughter in her wedding dress, mush has been the proudest moment for him. A grin gleaming across his face told you everything.

With Zoe ready, I made my way to the outdoor wedding area. A brand new wedding pavilion with Pete and Zoe's wedding is the first to use it. The family was seated, and Pete had a quick stiff drink from his best man's hip flask. Then it happened; Zoe made her way towards Pete, looking stunning in the perfect wedding dress for an outdoor wedding.

The ceremony was magical with some words spoken by Petes daughter mid-ceremony. The couple couldn't stop looking at each other—a genuine couple in love. With the ceremony over and the confetti flying, everyone had time for a drink before we zoomed through the group shots. I and the couple headed off to cover some spectacular portraits using fields, roads and peoples driveways.

It was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches before everyone could enjoy the food as we returned. It was time for me to say goodby, making five hours of wedding photography perfect for this couple's wedding.
