The day kicked off at the couples home in Earley, Reading where I got underway with the bridal prep shoots. Hair was being styled and the bridesmaid’s were casually doing their makeup. The father of the bride was casually sat relaxing in the lounge as he quietly waited for the girls to get ready.
Following the ceremony the guests were invited to join the happy couple on the lawns of Mapledurham House to enjoy a drinks reception, with The Watermill making a beautiful backdrop to capture some lovely photos. It was then a short stroll around to the back of the house to the open field to continue the drinks reception.
The couple held there reception in a teepee that looked absolutely amazing with straw bales for the outside seating area and Mapledurham house in the background. The wedding breakfast was a South African hog roast, followed by the wedding cake and fresh fruit cocktail for dessert (its the first time i’ve ever seen a whole wedding cake disappear with no waste, so what a brilliant idea) The guests enjoyed their coffee and a selection of lawn games as the evening guests started to arrive. With the evening now upon us it was time to get the evening celebrations underway with a disco and barbecue to see the guests through the night.
