Andrew and Lucy Wedding Denbies Wine Estate

Andrew and Lucy Wedding Denbies Wine Estate. For me, Denbies Wine Estate holds a special place in my photography heart. It's where I covered my first wedding many years ago and started my carrier as a wedding photographer. You could imagine how excited I was when booked to cover this wedding, and upon arrival, apart from the cottage now a mini-hotel, nothing had changed.

I start the day in the bride's room, capturing the last finishing touches and dad's first look—emotions running high as dad walked in the door and looked so prowed of his daughter. With dad ruching around finding the keys to the car to escort Lucy to the main entrance, I decided to head to the ceremony room and capture Andrew greeting the guests arriving.

The ceremony was fantastic. What an entrance the couple did, walking in together, wowing the crowd as they made their way to the front. We had the pleasure of two readings from friends and family; one reading was a poem created just for the couple and had everyone laughing throughout.

After a couple of group shots outside, we all headed out of the cold to enjoy drinks and catch up with family and friends. The afternoon went so fast, and before you could say jack frost, everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast. At the end of the food, we covered the speeches and headed into the main room for the first dance, where the band had already set up. The crowd didn't need an invitation to join the bride and groom on the dancefloor as everyone, even wheelchairs, joined the couple on the dancefloor.

The evening officially started, and all the shots were covered; it was time for me to say goodbye and let everyone enjoy the rest of the evening. Congratulations.
