Charlie and Chris Wedding at Cantley House Hotel. This venue is becoming very popular with brides and grooms and myself. We had a challenging day with the weather but lucky for us, we managed to dodge the rain for the group shots and portraits. The day and timings went perfectly to plan and not your traditional layout.

The bride opted for a slightly different approach after the ceremony. Keeping all the guests inside and happy at the bar. The group shots only took place 30min before everyone was due to make their way to the wedding breakfast. After this, I would cover the bride and groom portraits as the venue organised a confetti line for the wedding breakfast.

With the last click of the camera and the bride and groom portraits completed, they made their way through an archway of confetti. In total, I think we spent 30min covering the group photos, Bride and groom portraits and confetti shots. Giving the bride and groom more time with their guests and enjoying the day without worrying about schedules and timekeeping.

The evening was full of life as the bank kicked off the first dance, and the bride waved everyone onto the dancefloor. That night the dancefloor was never empty and bursting with acrobatic moves from the guests enjoying the music. The night ended with everyone outside for one last sparkler shot. Could you imagine giving a sparkler to a load of drunken adults acting like children waving them around? It was a funny moment to end the evening.
